Privacy policy
Last updated 22 October 2026
Crew Stays is operated by Tulaa Studio Limited. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020. Questions or requests: hello@tulaastudio.com.
What we collect
- Account details: name, email, password (stored encrypted by our authentication provider), and optionally your mobile number.
- Crew profile: department, role, home city and bio.
- Verification evidence: the links, membership details or names of referees you give us. We use it only to verify you. Union membership numbers are deleted once checked.
- Listings, requests and messages you create, including photos and dates.
- Payment records: payments are processed by Stripe. We receive confirmation of payment and your email, never your full card details.
Who can see what
- Listings are public. Your first name, department, role, bio and badge are visible to signed-in members.
- Your full name and messages are shared only with members you're talking to. Your mobile number is never shown unless you send it.
- Cars are only shown to the people you choose — guests you accept, crew you invite by private link, or verified members.
- Production names on housing boards are visible only to the board owner and our admins.
Who we share with
Service providers that run the platform: Supabase (database and storage, hosted in Sydney), Vercel (website hosting) and Stripe (payments). We don't sell personal information or share it with advertisers. Partner deals are shown to members; partners don't get your details unless you contact them.
How long we keep it
For as long as your account is open, and then only as long as needed for legal, tax or dispute purposes.
Your choices
- Update your profile or email preferences any time in Settings.
